Peace and All Good!
The Franciscan Friars welcome you to their home on the Internet. We invite you to come and explore.
Over 800 years ago, Francis of Assisi heard a voice speaking to him. The voice he heard from the Crucifix said to go and rebuild my Church. Since that time men and women have come and served God's people as a follower of St. Francis.
The friars at Holy Family Friary are members of the Province of St. John the Baptist (Cincinnati, OH) and of the Province of the Assumption of the Blessed Vrigin Mary (Franklin, WI). We minister in food pantries, in jails, in parishes of both the Diocese of Pittsburgh and in the Byzantine Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh. The friars help in various religious communtuites of women. We often are asked to faciailate retreats and meetings.
